Most of these WCOG announcements I opt to not pass along because, although they sound very interesting, they are SO far away. This one is still pretty far, but closer than most, so I'm passing it along.

Moderator: State Representative Barbara Bailey of the 10th District

The Washington Coalition for Open Government will present a special program focusing on Washington’s Public Records and Open Meetings laws. A panel of expert presenters will fuel the discussion on securing and preserving the public’s legal right to access the records and proceedings of the government agencies created to serve the people of the state.

The panelists include:
Tim Ford - Assistant State Attorney General
Graham Johnson - Former Executive Director of the Washington Public Disclosure Commission and former Chair of the State Redistricting Commission
Toby Nixon - Former State Representative, 45th District, Microsoft Corporation, WCOG President
Paul Schmidt - Oak Harbor City Administrator
