With the August 19th election close at hand it is time learn about who is running. Superior Court Judge Chuck Snyder has 18 years of Judicial experience and is known for his fairness and hands on approach in helping to make our Judicial system more efficient. He created and presides over Teen Court, presides over Drug Court and co-chaired the creation of the Child Maltreatment/Domestic Violence Protocol. These are just a few of the things that Chuck Snyder brings to our Judicial System in Whatcom County. You may vote for Judges as an afterthought, however making an informed decision is very important. Please visit Judge Snyder's web site at http://www.chucksnyderforjudge.com

Very Happy The primary is decision day in this race. Judge Snyder has a stellar track record, & the next four years (and more) could not be in better hands.

I agree completely with the above posts. JBrown has it right, but more than that, Judge Snyder is a great human being: giving much to the community as a board member of the Whatcom Museum, the Rotary Club of Bellingham and so on. Interestingly, he is also pretty adept at autocross and a real car buff!

Don't take their word for it. A stellar track record in only one area that comes before the courts doesn't speak for the court as a whole, and what the Superior Court does for society. If you want to understand our courts, and how important they are, I urge you to come to the debate between the candidates, and make up your mind after you've heard the facts. The debate will be in Whatcom County Council Chambers, this Thursday, the 24th at 5:30 pm. Make an informed decision, justice is the people's business, don't leave it up to the judges!

Judge Snyder has experience in every field, practicing law as a public defender & gaining considerable experience on both sides of the bench. His innate ethic is a valuable tool, his knowledge & experience will stand up to any scrutiny, & any opponent will find themselves embarrassed to prove otherwise.
