I was listening to a morning radio show this (Friday) morning. On this show, the three hosts were debating back and forth with all the "talking points" regarding stem-cell research. The liberal man was bashing away at the conservative woman, saying McCain is against stem-cell research. She responded, saying "No, he's not. He's against
federal funding of
fetal stem-cell research. I'm in favor of abortion rights, but that doesn't mean I want to fund it with federal dollars."
The man responded with what I believe is a very revealing line, "Well, then you better get ready for a lot of welfare spending, because that's your other choice."
What's wrong with that response?
